This is my grow out tank thread. My grow out tank is in the process of going from a 20g long to a 40g breeder.

I'm growing the Leopard Bush Fish out until they are large enough to be housed with my bichirs in the 125g. The clown loaches will stay in the 40g until they need to be upgraded to their own larger tank.

This tank consists of (reflects their current sizes as of 4/7):

4x Leopard Bush Fish - 1.75" - 3.25" (all purchased in December at just under 1")
4x Clown Loaches - 1.75" - 2.5" (purchased in January at 1.5" - 2.25")
1x Rubber Lip Pleco - 2.5" (Purchased this week at this size)

The 20g long is filtered by a dual sponge filter, Fluval U2 and ZenBlue HW402B with 9w UV.

Pictures as of last night..

The largest one is 3.25" now, he's growing considerably quick considering everything I have read shows they grow really slowly.

Built the stand for the 40g breeder on Saturday. Purchased the tank in Petco's $1 a gallon sale. I just need to paint the back black and I'll move them over. I also have a Fluval 306 on order to give a little more filtration.

I'll add some clown loach pictures this evening.

Those are beautiful! How big do they grow?

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
30 gallon vampire shrimp, green lace shrimp and snails.

Typically 6" or so, up to 8" in the wild.
