My 10 gallon is now complete

- one female super delta betta
- two small fancy guppies
- two African dwarf frogs
- two oto cats
- one zebra snail

- 10-20 gallon whisper filter on low current
- two live grass plants ( need help to id)
- one log that provides many place to hide
- thermometer
- heater ( water maintained at 76 degrees )

Water conditions are maintained by 15% water changed weekly leaving
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 20 ppm

What does everyone think?

On another note my 5 gallon has been up for 4 months no water changes
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0 ppm
Nitrate 0 ppm

Odd right?!?

Cool tank and fish! I like the red and green! :)
My only concern is that ottos need to be in groups of 3 or more... I am not sure two more would fit in your tank.

Two is fine IMO. they just prefer to have 3. I only recommend 1 oto per 10 gallons anyways.

Nice tank :)

Nice little tank!
Bit concerned about your 5g. Just because a tank has 0 nitrates (make sure you are doing the test correctly, shaking the bottle vigorously and following all the instructions) doesn't mean you can stop PWC. Look up 'old tank syndrome'.

I'm also concerned with my 5 gallon I don't think my single betta is making enough waste I have a beautiful annubis plant in there with him and I only feed him live food ie blackworms blood worms and brine shrimp and ur I'm sure I do the tests correctly I don't have any idea why it's not cycling

Are you using test strips?

Nope I used the master kit and I'm 100% positive I did the test correctly

I know should I add another fish?

No. One Betta is all that can fit IMO. Check your test kit isn't expired. Bang the nitrate #2 bottle on something and give it a good shake. There is a powder that settles in the bottom and it needs to be mixed with the rest of the solution.
Still do weekly PWC. There might not be any nitrates (unlikely) but there is still dissolved solids that need to be removed.

Not expired and did as you said still the same its showing proper results for my 10 gallon

Ok I'll do 15% water changes weekly hope my tank will cycle soon tho
