your betta looks stressed it might be a good idea to remove him if you have another tank that he can live in... but other than that I love your tank!!

My beta is like that when he is alone also. Seems less stressed when not alone.and thanks

New DW just had to have it. You know how it is lol

Im very surprised that your betta isnt in attack mode around your fish. I never knew that you could have a male with a community.. ive hear about females though. Are there certain types of fish that they are more willing to share their room with?

Betas are aggressive toward each other. I've seen betas with tetras, gouramis, frogs, loaches. Beta on beta is where they are lunatics. I even throw my butterfly pleco into my 2 1/2 gallon beta tank from time to time to clean up.

I'm surprised with your betta living in such a community. I have always wanted a betta in my tank. Tetra, golden barb, guppies with plecs is in my tank. Don't think a betta would like that, do you?

Guppies are not good choice. Any fantailed fish are not good mates. Other than that they can be good community fish.

I think i stroke a bit of luck with my betta. He is more chilled than any other fish in my tank. I went to my local aquatics shop and i seen this betta cohabiting with common livebearers. Surprisingly all fish was in good condition, no fin nips etc... he was swimming happily no troubles.

Therefore i purchased him and he quickly became a my best purchase by far.
