New tank!

Ok. Couldn't pass this up, a 55 gal starter set for $150 plus I work there so an extra 15% off! I've had a 55 before but its been years. I moved into an apartment with a "no tanks over 20 gal" rule. But now that I'm outta there I just couldn't not get this!

Well I moved 3 red minor tetras over from a 10 gallon I had going and put my gorgeous half-moon betta in there too. Then added 6 giant danios and 2 java fern. The rest of the vegetation is fake. Thinking about what to add next. Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome!

I know it's been awhile since I've posted. Had some things going on. Anyway… The 55 is coming along nicely (except for the neons, all of whom died save for 2). I've added 4 tiger barbs, a redtail shark, an eclipse cat, 2 blue and 2 gold gouramis. They are all doing really well together. I was a little worried introducing the more aggressive species in with the tetras but all is well thankfully.
Buying a 37 gal soon and doing a pirate theme with the decor. Any ideas on some fish that may suit the theme?
