I used to run a 12 litre but it was too small so my workmate, who has just got a 300 litre gave me his old one for free. The fish were not included but I had some tetra and panda corys to build on from my old small tank.
The gear I got for free (yay) 8)
-68 litre tank
-HOB filter
-adjustable heater (now set too 24-25 degrees C)
-fluorescent light
Fish
-12 Neon Tetras
-6 Harlequin Rasboras
-5 Panda Corys
-2 Colbolt Blue Dwarf Gouramis
-2 Ottos
-2 Yamato Shrimp
Plants (that I can name, and this is off Japanese names)
-Cambomba
-Petite Nana
-Amazon Sword
-Willow Moss
and two other hardy plants I cant name.
It's been running for almost three months and the fish are getting bigger. I may be a little overstocked I'm realizing but it seems to be okay, since the species mix well. The Tetras and Rasboras even school together which is interesting and the Pandas and Shrimp both do a capital job of cleaning the gravel.
I think Im not going to touch it now, its working great as it is.
