Re: My first tank

This is my first tank , im in security game and get stressed some times , so the guys calm me down some days .plus my wife and 2 children love the fish aswell lol .I currently have 3 corys, new addition fairly recently yea ! 3 clown loaches, 10 neons, 10 golen barbs , 7 red wagtails and james my stunning pleco. All happy now, teething prob at first ok now , over fed them rookie mistake. I have a 200 ltr fluval tank set up u4 with 8 different plants. Large Amazon sword on order. Thinking about 2 hillstream loaches golden . Would I have enough room in my tank?. If so would I be able to get anymore in ? If anyone has any ideas to improve the tank , let us now. much appreciated to everyone on the advise so far. Nice fish. Ps sorry for not introducing myself early .

Almost all species of hillstream loach like cooler fast flowing water. They will live longer and happier in a river tank setup with the cooler water I mentioned.

I keep tank at 75 degrees. Ph 7.4 to 7.6 my local lfs keeps his fish at 75 degrees . How do I make water faster ? I realy want these.

Get a powerhead or do it with your filter out put by placing it at one end and pointing it up the length of the tank if using a canister. If using a HOB filter place it on one end of the tank. Place some smooth rocks in the tank for them to attach to.

Filter bit done, just get some smooth rocks . Thanks for the tips
