We started CO2 this summer and the plants went crazy. I have to trim the ludwigia once a week.

Hi I also have a 40 ga breeder, all I have is tank and canister filter a cascade 700, I'm planning on getting my gravel (how many pounds?) and a heater, is 150 watts good? I'm leaning towards a tropical aquarium, Then I'm going to add plants and decor, I have no idea the workings of plants in a tank, I have a green thumb tho as I grow a vegetable garden from seed each year. Your plants are gorgeous! Please guide me through this, would you?
