I can't just leave anything alone so I've decided to add a sand substrate and a few decorations before I set up my new tanks this week. I'm always looking for ideas of what to do differently.

Paint the background. That would make a HUGE difference IMO.

I have been trying to decide what to paint on all of my tanks. My girlfriend is an artist and can paint about anything.

I like to do things a little different. I don't want to see the same tank in someone else's house. My next tank I would like to do more of a planted tank.
