Why are amanos too large for a 10 gallon? Lets not be too conservative here.

One would be fine but a group of 3+ wouldn't IMO

I thought they were maybe emerald meant more than one for anamos and one for anamo :s

Okay i get that, but why would a group of 3+ be too much for a 10 gallon?

I have 4 in my 10 gallon and they are about 4cm at the moment but if they get bigger I can move them to a 30 gallon

They get pretty big compared to RCS
Several people on here have said that that number is too much for a 10-not bioload wise but size wise

Do you know how big they get emerald do you mind getting a picture only because on other shops I've been too (well 2 other shops) they have been labelled 2 other things. So actually they have a shrimp that each shop says is another type !!!

I have 2.1 Amanos in my rimless 10g. They are doing great. The males are smaller than my big girl, but always busy cleaning.

I don't worry about Shrimp bioload. Pretty small I'd imagine, plus I Overfilter with a Eheim Ecco Canister.
