So I have a 20 gal. Freshwater tank an I want to add to it. I was wondering if you guys would post up pictures of your tanks, fishes and plants. :)

They don't necessarily have to be 20 gal. Tanks. Nice tank though

That looks amazing. I was thinking about having my tank look like that but I want to settle my fish first, I dont want to stress them out

Wow, how long did it take you to set that up and how much did it cost? That looks phenomenal!

My 30g completely overstocked lol, but some of the stock is moving over to a 55g soon. Yes the algae magnet fell in ;)

if you need ideas, here is one 90 gal and one 40 gal

here is the 90, sand bottom, DIY plants and assorted rocks with one coral. I like DIY plants because you can make exactly what you need, and you get the satisfaction of making it yourself!!!!!

here is the 40, small rock formation on left for cover, diy plants and slate. same sand bottom as 90, fake driftwood in the middle.
i like using fake driftwood as not to release any tannins into the tank.

here are both tanks, my last idea to you is to find a way to create a fake wall to hide your tanks behind, a simple fake wall sheetrocked to look like your surrounding walls will create a great scene. you wont' loose any floor space if you are just enclosing your tank, maybe put it on wheels so you can wheel it away to do water changes. it will turn your tank into art.

my lights are DIY LED's

another idea for you is to grab some blue LED's

then they really stand out.
and it's SUPER CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the blue lights make my fish glow

ok another idea,
replace your hoses with PVC, again it's a super cheap upgrade that increases your water flow. all DIY, as with all my projects on my tanks

here is full pvc intake and outtake

made my own strainer by reaming out the pvc to make a pressure fit

then go from pvc to flex when connecting filter

ok final idea,
DIY plants that i talked about above.

step one, supplies

Great idea are they actual aquarium plants or just the fake ones from like hobby lobby or those type of craft stores? What type of adhesive did you use?
