I also need to do more research on the congos I think I'm also going to have a hard time finding them. I'm a little Leary of mail order fish. They are beautiful and I hope I find them.

I found a substrate I really like today. They only had one 10 lb bag so I got it. They are ordering me more. I looked at pool filter sand and black sand but I fell in live with this one. It has multiple colors so algae and muck won't be noticeable. It's Pre rinsed and has water conditioners added.

I got my canister filter today!!!
From petsmart National Geographic CF80 made by Eheim in Germany. Up to 80 gal $139. Not bad for an Eheim I guess

I also changed my mind on the substrate again. I got black moon sand. I haven't decided if I will mix the two together yet.

Omg! I did it!!! I set my tank up. I did my first aqua scape. It is more beautiful than I could have imagined. I hooked up my canister filter and its been going all night. To my surprise the water was pretty clear. I still need to buy my light bulbs so I can take a decent pick. I can't wait to show it off!!!

I set it up yesterday. It's been running all night. Ph 7.Temp is @ 76 no heater. I need new bulbs though that's why only one side is lit up. it's a little hazy today. I can't believe I Finally did it!!!
