20 gallon nano
Hey, just wanted to share some pics of our 20 gallon high nano tank. Try not to pay too much attention to all the algae- our well-meaning neighbor topped off our tank with untreated TAP WATER while we were out of town!!! We have upped the water changes to twice weekly and it is slowly getting better.
Anyway, here are some specs on the tank... 2x65W PC lighting, 18 lbs. LR, Aquaclear 50 filled with LR rubble, 2x Koralia 1's, Visi Therm heater. Tank was set up on Nov. 21. Fish are an ORA misbar percula clown and a yasha goby that is paired with a pistol shrimp. Inverts are 3 sexy shrimp, several snails, 2 feather dusters, various mushrooms (ricordea and discosoma), frogspawn, candy cane, red acanthastrea, various zoas and palys, small lobophyllia, ORA green birdsnest, and encrusting montipora.

Thank you. It is certainly a work in progress and of course it was doing better before the tap water incident. The corals are all doing well and growing quickly (most started off as tiny frags), but the sand really looks terrible at the moment!

Making notes for myself for future setup. Can you tell me which things in your tank require the lighting that you have. That is fairly high light, yes? Is it for the zoas/coral? or for the lobophyllia?

The only corals we had that would require the lighting we were using were the sps corals (the birdsnest and montipora). Basically, you can get away with less lighting, but be sure to research corals you like and their lighting requirements so you are prepared to meet their needs.
However, we don't have this tank running anymore. Everything got upgraded to the 50 gallon. We now run 6x 39W HO T5 over the 50 gallon and we have a lot more options for what we can keep, plus the light itself really makes everything look nicer.
If you are interested in how the corals look now, check out our 50 gallon build/upgrade thread, found here:
50G build, upgrade from 20G
