Its come along way considering I had three boulders of live rock and two corals less than a year ago. Things really changed when I started breeding the coral, i had never done it before after a bit of research i soon found soft coral easy to breed

I have now purchased a spotted mandarin and a second bangai cardinal. I think I have a male a female as they swim around together?

The mandarin should be fine provided you have plenty of copepods in the tank. They graze all day. You have an incredible looking tank!

I could already see Copepoda in the tank, but added 500ml bottle of them that I got from eBay and plan to do so every month for six months and then see what happened with the copepod population.

thats a beautiful tank. I love salty tanks, just not sure I am ready for one yet. That must be one heck of a tank stand...88pd rock plus couple hundred pounds of water..lol

It's the jewel vision 180 with its proper stand so no worries about the weight. I got both tank cabinet and standard lighting for £50 off a friend.

wow amazing tank. I'd not get an urchin if I were you. I have one in my 50 gallon and its doing fine but it's a bulldozer and is always knocking over coral and making a mess of the tank. It eats coraline algae too and I swear it never stops pooping...lol The poop floats around the tank for like 30 minutes, it drives me nuts.

I have just tidied up the equipment in the tank and added a small refuguim now i need a light for it. I was thinking of an 18watt pl what do you think? see pics below
