Hi everybody,

I have put together pictures of my reef from when I started till now. I am
wondering if my reef is progressing like it should. I'm concerned mostly about my mushrooms. You can see from the pics on the growth. If I can get some opinions on my growth, it would help out a lot. I know I don't have alot of corals there now but I like to do things slowly.

Thanks

John

That is an awesome progression! Now that is some serious coraline growth there. 8)

btw - what kind of powerheads are those?

Mike

Thanks, the power heads are SEIO's. 2-820's and 1-1100.
I never had a problem with them since day one. I clean them once every 2 months. They are due now! The SEIO's where added I think around in April.

Besides being a nice tank it looks like you successfully defeated cyano. (y) I have never had to fight it but have heard the horror stories. Good job.

looks like a very nice progression! I would say your growth looks good for being a 6 month old tank (if i read your OP correctly)

So what kind of flow do those new PHs give you, and why did you decide to change to them? I noticed you went through about 3 different kinds of PHs through the series of pics.
