Copperband eating flake from hand (pic)
When I got this fish I had a hard time getting it to eat in [acronym:3913c9fbe4="quarantine or quart depending on context"]QT[/acronym:3913c9fbe4]. This is a normal problem with them and many die due to not eating. I use to target feed him because he would not eat with the other tank inhabitants. Well over time he learned to eat when I feed the tank. Well I have had him about 5 months now and he has gradually trusted me more and more. He will now let me "pet" him if I am in the tank. Well today I was feeding the cleaners some flake pinched between my fingers and he seemed interested so here is a picture of my copperband eating flake food from my hand. What a turn around from a fish that would not eat anything at first.
