Nice. You are going to want a larger power head than that maxijet. Check into Hydor Koralias, Aqueon, Seio Prop Pumps, I think even coralife makes similar pumps now. Something 1500 gph or so would be good.
Perhaps 2 power heads on opposite sides.
Did you consider the evap from that tank and the TV being so close?

Thanks for the advice on the power head the maxijet came with the tank so I figured I would run it for the time being. I did think about the TV but it is on a swing mount and can be pulled out to where it should be non problematic.

Officially been up and running for a week. Ammonia is on the way down, nitrites on the way up. I can't wait to start stocking it.

Ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10 ppm. Have diatom algae. Going to wait a while yet to start stocking.
