So today I got my new light set up.
It's a par38 with 4 white, 4 blue, and 4 ultra blue LEDs.
I really like the look, the shimmer is cool.

So while I did this I reaquascaped. I've been wanting to for a while and took this as my chance.
All the corals are mad but it looks better.
Only problem was that my scooter blenny jumped out and almost lost him and I touched a bristle worm, still waiting to see how that goes.

HERE'S THE BIG QUESTION.
What can I keep now that I have this stronger lighting?
The bulb is 2 watts each so 24 for the system.

I like it, but I don't know how it looked before :). If it was a bristle worm there would be no effect and it wouldn't hurt. If it was a fireworm and it felt threatened it could released it's spikes and that would really hurt...You might be able to keep a clam and monti or birdsnest (easy SPS) if they were higher up..maybe add another rock or something?

Here's and old pic.

Doesn't have all the coral but it's it's the aqua scape.

And I was looking at a monti frag today!

And live rock they had at the lfs was all huge so I'm waiting for them to finish curing the other rocks

Sounds good. Wow that's a ton of blue. I'm guessing it doesn't show up well in the pics, but I'm sure those coral's colors are popping b/c of all the blue.

Yeah, I was alittle worried it would be too blue but I like it a lot.
And the corals colors are impressing me(I've never seen some of these from them)

Yeah. When I turn on my moon lights I can't believe how the coral fluorescence. It's amazing how much the colors pop out opposed to in the day with more white light. Is your blenny still doing okay from the jump?

He just came out of hiding from under the sand. I was actually getting alittle worried that he jumped again...but he seems like he's alright.

Is $20 for a 2 inch pink Monty decent?

I don't know much about sps prices.
So far I've only been looking for softies and some lps.

That seems like a decent price for around here. Pink isn't all that common, I don't think. I got a green frag (very common) for about $10, and saw a approx 3"x 3" frag of red monti for $20. I've not come across pink yet.

Oh well then it's a red Monti lol.

Looked very pink though.

It may very well be pink monti- I love monti's, but I'm no expert on them. I would love to find a pink monti, just don't have them around here. :)

I'll ask next time I go to the lfs lol.
