I like it :) the only possible thing i can think of would be to add some more rock and make your scape taller :) maybe its just me but i like arches in my scape... Kinda like this. I dunno. Just an idea.

Yeah I like the arches too( that was a nice shot u had ) , my LFS charges for it like its freaking gold. There is one like 2 hrs aways that's a lot cheaper , and I wanna get about another 10-15 lb the next time I get there.

Looks great! I agree with the more rock and I would also put a background on it to make the colors pop more. Possibly dark blue or black.

Great idea, a backround would look nice! I prefer the traditional black to hide algea and cords, but any type will look good :)

If you want some great rock get baserock from reefrocks. They have some great deals on very nice rock and its wayyy cheaper then the 8 bucks a pound for live rock (which is useless IMO). You only need a little bit of liverock to seed the rest, in a few months your baserock will looks exactly like the live. You probably know this already, but anyways, nice tank :p

Thanks spoon, was hoping the coraline algae would have grown in more by now :-/ to cover my back wall, cause I have a blue/black sheet to put on the back. Any color pref ?

Exactly what I did , I bought 3 lb of nice purple rock at the beginning, and then some cheep LR ($4/lb but 2 hrs away ) . And now the cheep rock looks as good as the expensive rock ^_^.

Also 1 vote for traditional black :)

Looks good, mate. Agree with the comments on adding more rock. And I think you are a brave man having all those test kits and chemicals above your tank, in a very easy "drop into the tank" position :brows:

That shelf is about 10' from the tank, but I just move my tarantula's 10g tank , and plan on moving the test kits there, on the way to Florida for a week I'll be sure to do that
Just added these GSP's before I left ^_^
( I have some taking care of my tank and did water checks 20 minutes before I left to make sure my parameters were all good still !
Black it is !

I have to say things are really looking good! You were hoping that the coraline would have spread more? Man, you have more coraline in that tank than I have in both my 55 and 36! The 36 has been up since November. That is one nicely purpled tank!

How is the scallop doing? It looks great. So does the hammer. My hammer hasn't opened up like that in a month.

The scallop is pretty new , but it seems to be doing fine so far :) took a week to actually get it stuck to a 15 lb rock at my LFS ... Too me 40 min to get him off, the lady at the store was too afraid to hurt it.... 40 minutes of slowly pulling with the littles pressure and finally he gave up 0_0

And thanks for the " purple " tank ^_^ , now tat it has started its growing super fast ^_^

Well after a lil while I have indeed got a bit more rock and did add a background , here is the new look , 24 hours after getting the still trying to decide if this is how it will stay
