Turnaround time
Like the title says what is your average turnaround time from an order being placed if everything is in stock?

Sorry, I just noticed this post. We try to keep between 125 and 170 species in stock all the time. We ship every business day of the week and most orders are picked, packed and shipped the next business day after your order is received. If we happen to be out of a plant you are looking for and we know that more of it is coming in within the next few days we will hold the order and ship it out when the missing plants come in.
With equipment orders we are at the mercy of the manufactures. We will place a huge order for equipment, sell it and have more sold before the manufactures can even get the next batch to us. Equipment only sits in the warehouse for one day before it's back out the door. Some manufactures are much better than others in regards to being timely in shipping to us whereas others can't seem to get their "stuff" strait. To be honest with you the phone never ever stops ringing. We get calls from 6am until about 1 am in the morning. Our spam filters catch about 2500 pieces of spam everyday and we manually sort through another 2500 or so just to get to emails like yours. It may be that the filter caught it by mistake. We tried having a real sales staff but found that they would just try to push products and not really take the time to figure out what would really benefit the hobbyist. Now we answer all calls ourselves and have let the sales weenie go. I really can't cover all the internet boards as well as I would like to. Now, if only I could find time to sleep......... |
