Help! I’m going insane!

I have a suspicion that one of my platys might be pregnant... this is all well and good and I hope she is, however, after reading through countless articles and forums and watching videos, some steer towards yes she’s pregnant and some steer to no she’s not.
I’m looking for a definitive yes or no answer as I’m really confused and if she is pregnant if anyone can tell how far along she is that would be great too!

Thanks in advanced for any help anyone can give!

Hi, your platy is not pregnant because it is a male. The long thin fin under his tummy is called a gonopodium and is indicative of a male platy. Looks like he just gets plenty of food. :)

Thanks! I was told when I purchased them (4 total) 2 solid colours were female and 2 stripy ones were male. The other solid one has a different gonopodium so would this one be female? She like to ‘hide’ in the bubbles of my filter and under it, does this mean anything?

The female's anal fin will fan out. I'll attach a picture as I'm sure it's easier to tell by seeing it rather than me describing it.

It's possible she's hiding because of males chasing her. Have you tested your water recently?

Sorry, for some reason the pic won't send! Doing a quick Google search should bring up pics for you to see.
