African cichlid holding

I have a nice blue that's holding. She's in a 20g by herself. It's been 20 days now. Still know fry. It's her first time. Her mouth opens just a tiny crack but she won't let them out. Is this normal. It's my first time to.

they usually hold between 18-21 days but can be longer . as its her first time she may holdonto them longer . she will only release them once she feels its safe todo so . good luck keep forum updated

Yes...gl my tropheus I let hold full term for their 1st batch and usually takes 30 days

It was her first time. I got curious after day 22 and I striped her. She had 10 fry and they're all alive and doing fine.
