Angelfish gender

I have two supervail angelfish that I have had since they were the size of quarters. They are now larger than my hand, but I have no idea of their gender.

If you get a straight side profile pic, I may be able to help. If you can't, there is a way that works frequently that you can do yourself. Before the first meal of the day, look down at the fish from above. Females should have a bulge in the abdominal area while males should look like a straight flat line from top to bottom. This method must be done before feedings as a stomach full of food will also look like a gravid female from above.
Hope this helps

The 1st angel always appears fatter, but it has a "notch" on its head, so I'm baffled if it's female. The 1st angel also grew faster, although the 2nd angel eventually caught up.

The main reason I'm wanting to know the gender, is because sometimes it seems as though they are fighting, although I've never seen signs of damage. The tank, they are currently in, also houses ropefish, which would definitely eat eggs/fry. I don't want to spend the money on a second large set up to breed them if they're the same sex.
