my 2 angels have been locking jaws and fairly agressive towards each other lately. yesterday I come home to eggs on one of my plants. the large angel seems to be watching them, and not eating them, while chasing off another fish the other angel comes and eats half of them.
the eggs are on the side of the tank that my angels like. and I cant see it being any other fish in there.
I hear about the breeding tubes, can anyone elaborate on this?
thanks. Dan

Apparently your angels have spawned. This is the only time angels can be accurately sexed. The length of time that the breeding tubes can be seen will vary with individual fish. The males is shorter and more pointed and the females will be longer and wider.

Hopefully you can pay attention and observe the next time they spawn. Unfortunately it's fairly common for two females to pair off so you may not actually have a pair.
