baby pleco???

Does anyone have a picture or description of a baby pleco? I believe I have one in my tank. I was looking around for little zebras, and I saw what looked like a little black sliver stuck to the glass. Upon closer inspection, it has a head with eyes and a long tail.

Any tips on raising the little thing? or even containing it?

Sounds like a Loricarid fry...what species have you in the tank? Just some bits of submerged zuchinni should do the trick.

I have zebra danio and a pleco. Some others believe it's a danio, not a pleco. What has me thinking it's a pleco is that is behaves just like an adult pleco. Apparently pleco fry have a yolk sack, though, which is not the case with this little one.

If you only have one pleco it is impossible that it is fry from your pleco. It is probably danio fry anyway then.

HTH!
