bala shark breeding

Are my bala sharks trying to breed? They swim with their underside fins and tail together and 2 of the 3 are basically inseparable

I doubt it. How large are they? Balas get huge and are quite large (~10") by the time they hit sexual maturity.

I've read they hit sexual maturity at 4-5", never kept them but that's just what i've read elsewhere?
