my guppy is pregnant, and has been for a while. she is fairly large, and has started moving slowly, and looks as though she is finding it harder to swim. does this mean she will give birth soon?
cheers

In my experience with many pregnant guppies, I have noticed the momma's will usually find a place to hide and their appetite seems to increase.

Mine would hide at the surface in the back corner of the tank. And within a day or two I will see tons of fry.

You will notice the gravid spot getting closer to her opening too.

Congratulations and Good Luck!! :D
