Can anyone tell me when beta mormally start breeding?

In general, Bettas CAN start breeding at 3 months old and according to some, are in their prime from 3 months to 12 months old. I prefer to breed my Bettas when they are older and larger. The trickle down effect of this is that the eggs are larger and so the fry are larger and easier to care for. But in reality, once you see the egg spot on the female, she's old enough to breed. You just need to match her with an appropriate male.

Hope this helps(y)

Yeah it really helps if the betta fish are older. My opinion the older they are the more eggs they'll have.

Ok thnks, I actually have 3 but one of the males is much older. Plus he is sepetated so he will not fight the other males beta
