Betta ate pleco eggs

I never knew I had a male and female pleco, they bred and I found a cluster of eggs and then the betta went into the little nest area and ate them. The betta now has a very large tummy and the dad pleco looks like he is freaking out and hyperventilating. The mum is just sucking on some glass, doesn't even care. I feel so bad.
