Betta female changing stripe

When ever I put my female with the male she always get dark horizontal stripe then go back to stress then she keep changing. She's also big with egg and she look very wild. She doesn't have that much color on but like dark color

Vertical stripes are when she is happy and ready to breed but horizontal are stress? Haha not quite sure what you're asking
