My little 8 week old fry are starting to flare at eachother.
I have 3 big ones but there only about a cm, 3 medium 0.8 and 2 runts that are 0.3.
So my 3 big ones don't even have colour and theyre chasing after eachother with minimal nipping. I have some 5 gallon buckets that just need heaters if I need to separate them but I'd rather they stayed together :/
Any suggestions?

I just got an adorable picture In my mind of baby bettas flaring... Lol

Lol it's pretty weird it's like little clear triangles poking out of them haaha

Maybe just use a divider to separate them. How big is the tank/bucket they are in?? Most tank dividers work.

From what I have read, the males should start being separated when they start to flare. You can jar them or put them in divided tanks...

Hmmm but it's really the first time iv seen it so maybe it's just play fighting?

That's one of my most developed

Haha that's my favorite ^.^
it's name is turkey hehe

Hmmm... Turns out the ones that were flaring are little girlies!
Would it just be one getting dominance over the other? :/
