I need some help to get my Rams to breed.
75 gal-main tank
20 gal-for laying eggs/grow out
10 gal- spare /grow out
15 gal- spare/grow out

Question is how to get them to pair up? They are in the 75 now, there is 9 of them total, with Cory and angles. Plan is to find a pair(can't tell how) and move them to the 20 for the breeding. How long does it take to pair up? They have been in the tank for a week now.

They might still be a bit young. They will naturally pair up in their own assuming that you have both sexes..you will start to notice as they will start staying very close to one another they will sleep close to each other swim close to each other and pretty much always be at the others side.

At what age do they begin to pair?

Do you know how old they are? You prob won't see any action until they 6 months to a year old. Is your water alkaline? If so then the eggs they lay most likely won't hatch. Also, be aware that the first couple of times they do lay eggs they will be gone in a day as they will probably eat them. After a couple of batches they will learn what parenting means lol.
