Boli Rams Aggressive At Each Other?

Is this normal behavior for a pair during spawning? Is this part of a spawning ritual? At first my male chases the female a lot until she hides near the top of the tank, and now she is being aggressive and chases the male this time and he's behind a rock. I've seen this behavior last time during their last spawn but I don't know if it's normal or not. Btw, when will the female's breeding tube be visible? I've noticed that when I turn the light off, the male chases the female and when I turn the light on, the female chases the male. Weird lol. Anyone know?
