breeding angelfish ... are they related to rabbits???

Angel eggs will fungus quickly if not ferilized or not properly cared for by the parents.

I would say unless you do something about your water then you won't have a chance at breeding anything except livebearers. What kind of substrate are you using?

Try peat filtering or indian almond leaves, but I really think you should consider going RO or checking out your tap water. All the driftwood in the world won't soften your water enough to drop the ph with a hardness that high. Plants won't lower it at all.
 
Yeah ... i got to get soem RO water but units cost so much cash. The side the angels lay their eggs on has a sand substrate. Though i think that might be leaving the aquarium soon enough. I liked it for a while but nto anymore.

Peat would be great if it didn't color my water so much and i never heard of using indian almond leaves. will have to look into it. THanks.
