I have a pregnant guppy and I've heard to keep her in a breeding net but I've also heard to put her in another tank. She's going to give birth soon hopefully and I'm not sure what to do. What do you guy's recommend? Thanks!

If at all possible, I would let her drop the fry in the main tank. Trying net her, then moving her, may cause a great deal of stress on her and the unborn fry.

Only if you are worried about the fry being eaten by other community tank dwellers would I recommend moving mama. Even then, some thick moss or plant cover will help the fry survive in the larger tank. Just put part of a ladies nylon over any intake to prevent them from being sucked up into the filter.

Thank you so much!!!

You can also leave the female in the main tank and put the fry in the breeder as they are born.
