breeding nets

Bought a net with the fry catcher bit at the bottom, then read how people are not liking them. What's your opinions and why?

im not a fan.i had one when i was breeding swordtails,but it stressed the mom out way too muich

Any advice on alternatives? It sends me bozeyed trying to watch her through the net.....

i used a second tank(10 gallons),put her in,she gives birth,take her out. have lots of plants for hiding spots(i suggest java moss)
