Breeding rosy reds

I was considering breeding some rosy red minnows for my own source of feeders, and really just for a project. I have a ten gallon rubber maid with gravel, plants, PVC piping and overhanging rocks for breeding spots. Water room temp, 16 hours of light a day and neutral ph. My question is; how many rosy reds do I add per setup to breed? What's the best way to separate males from females?

Thanks but it still leaves my questions, like how many fish to introduce and proper seperation of the males and females. Anymore help would be great!
