Is it hard? Does anyone know how to successfully sex and then breed them?

I have a small school of 5 (3 normal, 2 albino) but the stick together. They are the target fish for the aggression of the firemouths in my 40 gal tank. But it would be cool to breed them too.

It's harder to raise the fry than it is to get them to breed. They do need to be bred in a separate breeding tank as the parents will eat the eggs and fry if left in the breeding tank.
Sexing: Males will have a red nose ( same with the Albinos) and the females will be more rounded in their bellies when they are gravid. (y)

Is it worth trying? How do I even go about encouraging breeding?

It's worth trying for the experience but Tiger Barbs are one of the easier cheaper barbs to get from a wholesaler so local stores may not be willing to pay you much for your efforts.
