Bristle nose Cat fish

Can anyone tell me how u tell male from female? I have 2, they r about 5in long, bought a breeding cave for them (ingrates, don't go anywhere near it lol). I haven't had babies, so figure they r the same sex. I got them both at the same time. Thanks
