bristlenose plecs mating

so ive got a lemon (female)and brown pleco (male)... the male has chosen a rock the female keeps going in there and coming out they just been in there together for about 20 mins with a bit of movement at first then went still are they mating if so how long will a mating ritual last?

there no eggs at all but she in there alot with him

well just looked after they were in the rock together and saw these ....not even had the male 2 weeks yet (bought 2 males)but she was pestering him from the minute he went in the tank as well as the smaller one but this male was interested in her so we got a seperate tank to put them 2 in as they were being disturbed by the other fish in main tank and just over 24 hours later theres these so excited

actually just realised only had him a week tomorrow (friday 30th dec) lol

Good clean water can drive fish to spawn..
So changing tanks multiple times may have actually encouraged them..

they were doing it in main tank hence why we moved them to another tank so they had no threats but when we moved them it was main tank water we used and topped the main tank up after they went into smaller tank
