Bristlenose - Will They Eat Ram Fry ?

Well I have two bristlenose in my Discus tank and now that my 2 foot tank and my turtle tank is complete (just about) It is time I put some attention/time/money into this tank lol. Any way my thought is to move the bristlenose to my empty fry tank were hopefully they will breed - my only problem is will they eat fry hat is added to the tank this will hopefully and eventually be ram fry and cockatoo fry?

This leaves my discus tank with the rams and Discus and hopefully will be planted very nicely and have many many shrimp to keep tank clean. As the bristlenoses just make more of a mess than what they clean now a days; as they are so use to the fresh veg etc ... they turn there nose up at algae lol.

Although there is no guarantee, bristlenose's aren't known to be fry consumers.

hopefully not, but when my rams started laying eggs, I couldn't keep my bn away from them. So she was moved. I have no idea about fry though.

Be cautious...I have a female BN adult that ate 7 albino BN fry from other parents once....not sure I trust them fully around fry.

I think I will try it, if numbers decrease the bristlenoses can allways be moved back to there planted tank.
