can't tell

i thought that i would be able to tell the sexs of my baby mollies at 4-6 weeks but i can't. they are 8 weeks old and they still all look like females. is there just a slight change or do they look like the adults???

It would help if you could post some pictures of them on here.

The one thing I normally look for in sexing mollies is the anal fin structure. If it's the tri short fins it's female, if it's different I normally consider it male.

I know it's not scientific and such, but it's easy to understand and it works for me

It is the easiest way to sex the fish IMO. Usually you can tell by 6-8 weeks.

i would post pics but they are sooo fast and its really hard. but everytime ive got a good look at them they all have 3 short fins so is it possible that the first batches of my fist two fish are all female???

Well i'm sure it's possible. Just very unlikely. I don't really know what else to say since we can't see them only you can. So we have to take your word for it.
