Cherry and yellow shrimp breeding???'s

I've kept cherry shrimp for awhile now and have had tons bred and loads of little ones, Well to make a long storie short. I kept them and bred them and moved on to Apistogrammasand betas. But now a buddie has gave me around 45 cherry shrimp. Well I had aready ordered 15 yellow shrimp to try my hand at breding them.
Anyway will the two species interbred with each other? I'm thanking yes but a ladie on a shrimp site told me no the yellow shrimp will only bred with there kind. I'm just not seeing this. I beleave there of the same species. Same shrimp just differnt color morph right? Some help before they get here and I do what she saysand have some wierd color morph because I listened to her.

I don't see yellow and red making a color morph anyone would want do ya'll? LOL
