Convict Fry
I have a breeding pair of convicts, and I was wondering when I can remove them from their parents into a breeder net. I wish to save as many as I can. At this time the fry are all moving their tails as if swimming, but they do not move much as to distance traveled.
Thanks in advance. |

Once they can be fed on flake food, I think it's okey to put them in a breeder net. But it's not really neccesairy. They will be fine with the parents, and I'm not sure if you would actually want a whole bunch of convict fry. Since they are easy to breed, it can be a PITA to get rid of them. Your [acronym:f67d03b312="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:f67d03b312] might take them, but don't expect any store credit for it. MAybe they're nice and will give you some. If it's a mom & pop kinda [acronym:f67d03b312="Local Fish Store"]lfs[/acronym:f67d03b312] then they will probably give you some credit.
