Courtship ?
Is courtship the same no matter what species of fish. My puffers are now starting to stay within 6 inches of each other, while looking at one another where as before they would flee at the site of each other. Is this beginning of courtship?
If so any information regarding courtship/breeding with puffer's ?

most puffers are so aggressive the male and female are only put together (in the same tank) at the likely time of spawining..

well now the female puff'ed up at the male and then the male swam away. Do you think this is courtship behaviour ?

Im not sure that you have puffers that should be kept together in the same tank.. You could be having aggression issues.

I have kept these species before in the same tank and they succsessfully spawned.
They are not hurting each other, thats why I think it is courting

If you have successfully spawned this species of fish I would assume you would know what to look for
