Depends on what the colors are, fin shapes and colors are sex determined genes. And if you just bought them from the store or a mixed lot then there is no telling where the blood lines came from or what their parents looked like so it would be near impossible to predict. But if you mated them you'd find out!

They are petstore bettas but even so could i get any super deltas or anything. :cool:
 
Super delta is a name that some wholesaler applied to those bettas. That's the problem with bettas and discus. Every breeder or supplier started naming them with fancy names and there is no standard or reference to show specific traits for specific names. One more thing to add as a notch on the way to seeing the demise of our wonderful hobby. Ignorance is bliss. If you breed your fish inevitably some of the offspring will probably show traits of the father. But that's not guaranteed.
