I just bought two Dalmatian mollies from my local pet store, I was told one was a male and one was a female(I can't tell if that's true or not:-/) I was wondering if they would breed or if they have to be kept separate until they are ready? And I think one might be pregnant... It looks like it has a bigger belly. Any help would be great thanks! Here are a few pictures, not very good because they are so fast!

The best thing you can do is enjoy the hobby. The fry might be born in three weeks. When that happens remove the fry and keep them in a different tank for about 4 months.

From the pictures it looks like you have two male ones. If they are male and female they will breed but the male will harass her. You really need one male to every two females. Good luck !
