Dalmations giving birth now what?

I bought 2 dalmation mollies two days ago and just now I walk by my tank and one is popping out babies. What do I do? I have a 55g and I hear some of the other fish I have like to eat them. I have quite a few artificial plants. I kind of prefer the idea of natural selection if they are meant to live they are meant to live but is there anything I can do to optimize the chances that one or two survive? My girlfriend wants to know how long they go between each baby so we can tell how many we have.

You could get a breeding net/ hatchery and just catch the remaining fry.

The time span between fry can vary. sometimes just a few minutes sometimes more.
