Aquarium Advice Addict
So I discovered my pigeon blood is female, after she paired up with my blue turquoise. They started spawning yesterday, but instead of the male following behind and fertilizing the eggs, he followed behind and ate them immediately. I understand that they'll eat them if they're unfertilized, but this guy never even gives himself the chance. Is it stress? Does he think the water isn't high enough quality? He's spawned with my red scribbled before and didn't have this problem. Any opinions would be helpful.
