Fat or pregnant?

Yes, the question that plagues many of our minds when we meet others can now be applied to fish. This is my first time having a female platy and she came home like this. Is she pregnant? If so then how far along is she?

Looks like a perfectly healthy platy and she doesn't appear to be gravid.

That's good then How do you tell if they are pretty though?

If their bellies begin to enlarge, you can be almost certain they are pregnant. If there are males and females, there will be fry at some point.
