female plecos fighting 2 questions in 1

as the title says ... ive got 2 female plecos that keep fighting i thought females didnt fight only males ... why would 2 females fight? ... also got a male who keeps chasing one of the females off when she wants to get in the same cave as him or if she goes into another one he chases her out as if he has claimed the whole pleco cave for himself ... why does he chase the females off when they want to possibly lay eggs?

Do you already have eggs in there??? They can hide them very well with their body.

no we did a rechange and he was doing it before the rechange ... he swims around tank doing it too just does a quick hard forward motion then stops he even does it to us if we look in lol

he keeps laying at the front covering as many caves as he can
